East Pattaya, for the purpose of this website, covers the Soi Chaiyaphon Withi, Siam Country Club Road, Soi Nern Plub Wan, Soi Khao Noi, Soi Khao Talo and other sois down to Soi 89 and as far east as Mabprachan Lake, Chak Nork, Horseshoe Point, Crocodile Farm and East Jomtien areas.
East Pattaya is a very popular location for Ex-Pat housing with a wide range of house prices from 2,000,000 THB to houses priced at millions of Dollars.
East Pattaya has always been popular with Ex-Pats and Thais alike as it is out-of-town but close enough to drive in for the beaches, shopping and entertainment.
East Pattaya is generally a 15-25 minute drive from central Pattaya and offers good access to the international schools and industrial zones.
The new highway extensions will make travelling to schools, the industrial zones and the airports far more convenient.
There is a good selection of Local and Bi-Lingual schools in the area with the main international schools in East Pattaya being Tara Pattana International School, Rugby School and Regents International School.
There are numerous local Thai restaurants and large food markets in the area.
East Pattaya has its share of good international restaurants too such as Taco House, Vespresso Café & RestaurantPepper & Salt, and Vientiane Restaurant; and pubs such as Murphy’s and Retox Outback; with the restaurants and pubs such as  August Restaurant, Sicily Pizza Pattaya and The Loft at Mabprachan Lake being only a short drive away.
Take-away DELIVERY food is available from many Pattaya restaurants through web-based food delivery services.
If golf is your game you will find Phoenix Golf Course and the 3 courses at Siam Country Club almost on your doorstep.
Tops Supermarket have now opened The Chilled supermarket on Soi Khao Noi and another supermarket has opened on Siam Country Club Road. For those of you wanting "food from back home" you will such treats often available at ex-pat shops like Siambury's on Soi Khao Talo.
Convenience stores such as 7/11, Family Mart, Lotus Express and Mini BigC are now throughout the area. 
For larger food shopping Makro and Tesco Lotus are only a short drive away.
You will find many clinics and pharmacies within East Pattaya.
There are banks in East Pattaya on Siam Country Club Road, Soi Khoa Talo and Soi Khao Noi and most convenience stores mentioned above have ATM machines.
There are large petrol stations on Soi Chaiyaphon Withi and Siam Country Club Road, with smaller ones on Soi Nern Plub Wan and Soi Khao Noi.
